Description of open Positions:

Membership
This position campaigns for families to join the Chinook PTSA and coordinates their registration with the State PTSA.  There is some data entry work.

Awards and Recognition
In the Spring, this committee works with students and PTSA volunteers to award staff awards and Volunteer Awards (Founder’s Day awards).

Watch DOGS
We love seeing our dads at school. Watch DOGS (dad of great students), helps to coordinate more of our male volunteers to be on campus and volunteering in our school.

Family and Community Events (FACE)
We have numerous events throughout the year, and this position would help to coordinate all PTSA events and scheduling  necessary volunteers for events.

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math)
This position would be the lead to plan and coordinate the annual STEAM event (science fair) usually held in April.

Coyote Reader’s Club
Our coyotes love to read! Each school break, all students will be given the opportunity to earn a special prize by reading at home each day during school breaks. The students are given a form to fill out, and if they bring it back signed by a parent, they get a special treat and book. This chair position would work with our librarian to create forms to send home, organize, and run the event.
